Alexander Kalinoglou was born and raised in Athens.

He counts over 25 years of involvement in the art of photography having mastered both the technique as well as the aesthetics and communication of the medium.

His personal work has been presented to the public in «Emotional Photography» booth of 3 annual wedding expositions:  Expo Event & Wedding at Helexpo Palace Expo Center (2009), New Life at Mediterranean Expo Center (2016), Euro Wedding at Helexpo Maroussi Expo Center (2016)

He has attended photography masterclasses in special photography exhibitions and congresses in Greece and abroad, aw well as specialty workshops and masterclasses on Wedding Photography by internationally renowned masters such as Yervant, David Bastianoni, Johnson Wee.

Beyond wedding photography he has also specialised in portrait photography, product / advertising photography and micro photography (up to 20X lifesize scale). He has successfully implemented  high complexity photographic assignements for local and international companies (Greece, Switzerland, Belgium) from which he was highly merited for the quality of his work, efficiency of communication and professionalism.

He has attended art photography workshops and lectures by nationally acclaimed photographer Plato Rivellis, history of cinematography by John Paraskevopoulos, cinema production (direction, script, editing, sound, lighting, photography) by Andrew Katsikoudis, having been a co-star and assistant producer in an experimental short film.

He has attended drawing and painting lessons by painter and sculptor Charalampos Theodorou. His works have been exhibited at the Municipal Gallery of Paleo Psychiko in Athens. He specialises in charcoal drawing and pastel painting portraiture.

His artistic studies also include classical music (national degree in classical guitar performance, classical piano, certified piano tuner & technician), history of art, history of music. He has attended masterclasses with internationally acclaimed masters in classical guitar (N. Mavroudis, E. Assimakopoulos, E. Zoi), orchestra conducting (M. Economou), baroque music, contemporary music, jazz, etc. He has also performed as a tenor voice singer at the choir of graduates of the Music School of Pallini.

He has also studied Engineering (University of Patras, Greece), Management (University of Lancaster, UK), Teaching, Education and Counseling (School of Pedagogical and Technological Education, Greece).
